Another track in the north of Osnabrueck. Again some smaller hills, but a lot of them. Ariving at the point where the whole fun stats takes again a little bit longer, but that is something you will always find in O. The track ends in the middle of nowhere, that is because the batteries were empty.

GPS (Global Positioning System) devices are getting cheaper and cheaper these days. They are available as small and simple devices showing only the direction in which you are supposed to travel. There are also versions with color displays showing a (topographic) map of the area you are in. There are devices with additional features like a training diary.
In this book, I will try to sum up my experiences with GPS devices. If you think that you can just walk into a shop and leave it some minutes later with such a shiny new gadget you will realize that it is not that easy and fast a thing to do.
...is in the south of Osnabrueck. The biggest hills await the one who is strong enough to go up. The only problem with those hills is that they are a little bit far away from the centre of the city.

Like every art festival an opening ceremony has to be held. There, people supposedly somehow connected and knowing about art tell how great it is to have the festival. Like every year they thank themselves for their great work and say things that noone can understand. Everybody nod their heads just to show that they are also somehow attached to the topic. Wonderful! Oh, did I mention the free drinks and food already?
Right from the top of the Piesberg, there is a nice way downwards. This is part one.
It was recorded on 2006-04-28 in the evening.

In this nice article which comments on the change of Apple from PowerPC to Intel, there is one passage in the text, close to the end. It is about how Linux is slowly maturing when it comes to being a desktop environment for end users.
One thing seems certain: Linux usage is about to explode, thanks to the Sony PlayStation 3--analysts expect Sony to sell 200 million of them, which means 200 million Linux computers in the hands of mostly young people (between 5 and 18 years old). This is phenomenal, and is perhaps the best possible way to push Linux into the mainstream.
Now this is really interesting, since the PlayStation is rather fast as it seems. Attach a keyboard and a mouse, buy a decent display. You have Linux and a super-fast CELL-Processor. Additionally, there will be a lot of users growing up with such machines.
Like the new Apple Core Duo TV-Ad from apple states in the end: Imagine the possibilities
